Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website at theritesystem.com, taking our quiz, joining our email list, or purchasing any program or product from The RITE System, you agree to these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these terms please do not use our website or purchase our products.

Who We Are

The RITE System is a horse training methodology and online education platform created by Kristi Newman, based in Whitby, Ontario, Canada. References to "we", "us", or "our" mean The RITE System and Kristi Newman. References to "you" mean the person accessing our website or purchasing our products and services.

Our Programs and Products

The RITE System offers horse training education through digital courses, live online programs, group coaching, private coaching, clinics, and the On Demand RITE Coach tool at theritesystem.com. All programs are designed for adult amateur riders who own or lease their own horse and have basic riding experience.

Our programs are not suitable for:

Complete beginners who have not yet established basic position and horsemanship skills

School horses used in group lesson programs

Anyone seeking advice for horses with significant veterinary or behavioural issues requiring professional in-person assessment

Our programs are educational in nature. They are designed to complement — not replace — the guidance of your existing trainer, coach, or veterinarian.

Important Safety Disclaimer

Working with horses is inherently dangerous. Horses are large, unpredictable animals and even experienced riders and handlers can be injured. By purchasing or using any RITE System program you acknowledge and accept that:

Horse training and riding carries inherent risk of injury or death to you and others

The RITE System and Kristi Newman are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage that occurs while applying any technique, exercise, or principle taught in our programs

You are solely responsible for assessing whether any exercise or technique is appropriate for your specific horse and situation

You should always consult a qualified equine veterinarian before changing your horse's training program, particularly if your horse is showing signs of pain, lameness, or sudden behavioural changes

You should never attempt any groundwork or ridden exercise unless you feel physically and mentally safe to do so

If in doubt, seek the guidance of a qualified in-person professional

The information provided through The RITE System is educational and is not a substitute for professional in-person assessment of your horse.

The On Demand RITE Coach

The On Demand RITE Coach is an AI-powered tool that provides general horse training guidance based on the RITE System methodology. By using this tool you understand and agree that:

Responses are generated by an AI system and are for educational purposes only

The tool cannot assess your horse in person and cannot account for your horse's specific health, history, or individual circumstances

Responses should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional in-person training or veterinary advice

You use the tool at your own risk and The RITE System accepts no liability for any outcome resulting from applying advice generated by the tool

Purchases and Payments

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated. Payment is processed securely through our payment provider. By making a purchase you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.

Digital products and online programs are delivered electronically. Access is granted upon receipt of payment.

Live programs and calls are scheduled in advance. If Kristi is unable to deliver a scheduled live session due to illness or emergency we will reschedule at the earliest opportunity.

Refund Policy

We stand behind the quality of our programs and want you to feel confident in your purchase.

Digital courses and recorded programs: Due to the nature of digital products we do not offer refunds once access has been granted and the content has been accessed. If you experience a technical issue preventing access please contact us and we will resolve it promptly.

Live group programs: Refunds are available up to 48 hours before the first live session. After that point no refund is available as preparation and delivery costs have been incurred.

Private coaching: Refunds are available up to 48 hours before your first session. After the coaching relationship has begun sessions are non-refundable but may be rescheduled with 24 hours notice.

If you are genuinely unhappy with any program please reach out to us directly. We will always do our best to make it right.

Intellectual Property

All content on theritesystem.com — including but not limited to the RITE System methodology, course materials, quiz content, podcast episodes, email content, videos, graphics, and written materials — is the intellectual property of Kristi Newman and The RITE System.

You may not:

Copy, reproduce, or distribute any of our content without written permission

Share course materials, login credentials, or program access with anyone else

Use our content to create competing products or programs

Claim our methodology, frameworks, or branded concepts as your own

The RITE System, Reward Integrated Training for Equines, and associated names, phrases, and concepts are the intellectual property of Kristi Newman.

Testimonials and Results

Testimonials shared on our website and social media represent the experiences of individual clients. Results vary and are not guaranteed. Your results will depend on many factors including your horse, your existing skill level, the time and consistency you invest, and your horse's individual temperament and history.

We do not promise specific outcomes. We promise to deliver quality education grounded in the RITE System methodology.

User Conduct

When participating in any RITE System community, live call, or program you agree to:

Treat Kristi and all other participants with respect

Not share offensive, abusive, or inappropriate content

Not share proprietary course materials outside the program

Not solicit other participants for competing products or services

We reserve the right to remove anyone from a program without refund if these standards are not upheld.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The RITE System and Kristi Newman shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website, programs, or the On Demand RITE Coach tool. This includes but is not limited to injury to you or your horse, financial loss, or any other damage.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific program or product giving rise to the claim.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do we will update the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our website or programs after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
